I am always updating WordPress plugins for me and for my clients, and changing them out completely from time to time.
Although plugins are fabulous, it is not a good idea to have too many, as they can slow the function and speed of your website loading, especially if they are not updated regularly.

Run a survey, vote, competition, with a prize. Use SurveyMonkey, a free online platform, where you create the survey or contest, and add the link to your FB post or website. Make it fun, and short – just two or three questions works best.
Install a plugin that adds a Facebook Share button to each of your blogs on your website. In this way your readers can easily share your content with their Facebook friends. Try Share This, and there are many others on WordPress.

Two of my clients are now launching into membership sites... It is fun, but I have been on a Wishlist learning curve, 1shoppingcart, plugins, teleseminars, and all the brainstorming that goes with it! In this game there is something new every day, and the tools change at an astonishing rate. Evenings and weekends are so often spent updating my skills or knowledge base.
